She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Slater; and her children, Freddie and Maxie Hackney. She is survived by: her grandsons, Paul Hackney (Audrey) of Woonsocket and Steve Hackney (Jenny) of St. Cloud, Florida.; her great grandchildren, Hannah Edwards (Bobby) of St. Cloud, Elizabeth Albright (Nick) of Lake Nona, Samuel Hackney of St. Cloud, Ainsley Hackney of St. Cloud and Julianna Hackney of St. Cloud; her great great grandchild Wesley Steven Edwards; her son-in-law Eddie Hackney (Carolyn) of Tavares; and her nieces, Margaret Reeves of Ocala, Debbie Peak of Kentucky and Mary Jean Fields of Kentucky.
