He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Sikkema and Matilda Sikkema; and his brother-in-law James Hartley. He is survived by: his family, Preakness Dairy, NJ and Point Pleasant; his wife Janice Sikkema; his children, Brenda Connor (Tim), Sue Smith (Steve) and Michael Sikkema (Kelly); his sisters, Judy Hartley and Carol Van Der Ploeg (Jack); and his grandchildren, Kyle Smith (Megan), Corey Smith (Hanna), Sean Connor, Ryan Sikkema and Kate Sikkema.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or charity of your choice.
