She was predeceased by: her mother Lois; and her siblings, Cleo Brown (Marjorie), Lewis McElvy, Lawrence McElvy (Willeen) and Dora Galloway (George).

She is survived by: her sister Anna Warren (late Bill Warren); her husband Stan Stookey; her children, Kevin Courson (Christina), Stephanie Annis (Thomas) and Derick Courson (Sarah); her grandchildren, Whitney, Jonathan, Jocelyn, Hazel and Graham; and her great grandchildren, Ryland, River, Gabriel and Nathaniel.
