It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawanna Holland Matthews (Trenton, Florida), who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her mother Lela; her grandfather Earl; her father Wylie; her sister Jeny; her grandson Erron (Hunny Earl); her children, Ernest, Steve Matthews Sr. (Sheila) and Shawn Leverette (Dwayne); her grandchildren, Steven Matthews Jr. (Jessica), Stephanie Matthews Clark (Danny), Casey Matthews (Sarah), Whitley Davis (John), Justin Leverette, Josh Leverette, Briton Leverette (Cassidy), JD Leverette and Briana Leverette; her sister Linda Snyder; and her friends, Vera Lindsey and Maxine Parrish. She was also cherished by her 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
