He is survived by : his wife Inez Strong; his children, Robert Strong of Orlando, FL, Vicki Strong, Patrick Strong (Nancy), Marcena Strong Bohler and Nancy Estep (Gene); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Stefanie, Nic, Kelly, Brenden, Maegan, John, Joshua, Joey, Dylan, Van, Nathan, Ally, Gabe, Eli, Patrick and Victoria; his great grandchildren, Art, Teddy, Baby Finn and Baby Graham; his brother James H. Strong (Frances); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Richardson (Betsy) and Ann Boykin (C. W.) of Sumter, S. C.. He is also survived by his numerous extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider a donation to the First Baptist Church on Bayshore Benevolence Fund.
