He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Straka and Virginia Straka; his stepbrother Ted; his significant other Gloria LeRoux; and his son Thomas.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Steven Straka II (Molly), William and Robert; his grandchildren, Elyse, Jay Steven Straka II and Virginia Sage; his sisters, Carol Flynn (Ed) and Kathy Straka Kirtland; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly, Kathleen, Kevin, Wayne, Eric, Ryan, Jay, Michael (Greg) and Jackqueline Schultz.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Off the List, a non-profit dedicated to getting kidney patients off the kidney transplant list (http://www.getoffthelist.org.).
