He was predeceased by: his former wife Genevieve Korenchan Causland; his son-in-law Douglas Ermides; and his brothers, Richard Causland and James Causland. He is survived by: his former wife Norma Causland of Vero Beach; his children, John Causland of Ann Arbor, Janet Magnifico (Michael) of Litchfield, Mary Ermides of Saratoga Springs, Roberta Ruppel (Todd) of Sleepy Hollow, Leonard Causland (Donna) of Silverthorne and Christopher Causland (Holly) of Kingman; his grandchildren, Alecia, Lauren, Juliana Magnifico, Matthew Ruppel, Genevieve Ruppel, Katherine Ermides and Kristen Ermides; and his great grandchildren, Marcos Magnifico and Everett Breilein.
