He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emanuel Van Aderhold Sr. and Ruby Aderhold (Williams); his wife Mary; his sons, Michael Aderhold and Martin Aderhold (Erin); his stepdaughters, Cherie Pellum and Sandra Viers; his siblings, Vanette Gibbs (James), Iris Hall, Connie Lee (John) and Terry Aderhold; and his grandchildren, Brittany Schwartz, Brandon Aderhold, Alex, Adam Aderhold, Ashlyn Macabitis (Caleb), Kari Russell, Hayley, Courtney, Chad and Dylan Viers.
