He is survived by : his wife Kimberly; his daughter Alyssa; his grandmother Fern Riley; his parents-in-law, Bob and Debbie Lowe; and his brother-in-law Kevin Lowe.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to several of the organizations that have been so supportive of the Rileys during Jimmy's illness. These include Duke University Hospital-Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center; Enthusiasts for Hope; Hook A Hero Foundation; Inheritance of Hope; The Jack and Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation and Off-Road United Foundation.

“I’m so very sorry for your families loss. I saw Jimmy the last time my late mom & I was down @ Florida for Aunt Fern’s surgery, sometime around 2012. I’ll continue praying for comfort & strength during this time. His Grandma was my dad’s sister. You will be missed Jimmy. Thank you for your service to your community, and your country. May God be with all of you. ♥️🙏🏻”
