Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Eugene Mertens (West Melbourne, Florida), born in Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away at the age of 86, on November 22, 2019. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, William Frederick Mertens and Estelle Ruby Wright Mertens; his wife Dorothy Mertens; his children, Eric Mertens (Lisa), Joshua Mertens, Robert Mertens, Daryl Mertens (Phyllis), Brenda Stephenson (Don) and Scott Mertens; and his grandson Craig Mertens. He was also cherished by six grandchildren.
