He was predeceased by : his parents, MacDonough Foard and Genevieve Foard; his wife Patty; his sister Jean Spott; his brother-in-law Bob Spott; his parents-in-law, Albert and Velma Farland; and his aunt Tilly.

He is survived by : his children, Jim Foard, Jr. (Michelle) of Longmeadow, MA and Deb Makuch (Craig) of Enfield, CT; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Madeleine and Olivia; his brother Dennis Foard (Brenda); his brother-in-law Msgr; and his caregivers, Nancy, Liz, Chozen, Wynter, Jenna, Lisa, Josie, Vicki, Vanessa, Kate, Mary Kate, Robert and John. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, countless friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Forastiere-Smith Funeral Home (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (395 Chestnut St, Springfield, MA 01104).
