He was predeceased by : his wife Elsie Arnold; his sons, Freddie and Jay Arnold; and his parents, Evelyn Arnold and Willie Arnold.

He is survived by : his children, Jacqueline Arnold (Rick Willerson) and Frederick "Rick" Smith; his grandchildren, Rose Smith, Michael Davis, Michelle Davis and Shevin Arnold; and his great grandchildren, Alysa Davis and Derrick Arnold.
