It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Kay Hughes of Wildwood, Florida, who passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Dorothy Louise Slone; her husband Jack W. Hughes; her daughters, Crystal Gail Hughes and Rebecca Sue Hughes; and her siblings, Eugene, Ricky Slone and Patricia Wallen.
She is survived by: her son Steven Hughes; her grandchildren, Crystal and Brooke; and her great grandchildren, Braelyn, Daimon, Coltin and Adelynn.
In remembrance of Brenda's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to The Shriner's Hospitals for Children Donate to Shriners Children's — Superheroes.
