He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Beatrice Harvey and Taylor Harvey; his wife Aviva Esther Harvey (Shulman); his children, Elizabeth Anne Bulthuis (Eric), Stephen Barrett Harvey, Amanda Barrett Harvey and Brian David Harvey; his grandchildren, Carmen Elizabeth Bulthuis and Jackson Barrett Davis; and his brothers, Taylor Campbell Harvey and Stephen William Ring. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in his name to COVID-19 relief in South Florida, via the United Way of Broward County (http://www.unitedwaybroward.org).
