She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Cardwell and Pansy Cardwell; her grandson Jeremiah Martinez; and her sister Nellie Barefoot. She is survived by: her former husband Jimmy Wheat; her daughters, JoAnn Martinez (Gama), Veronica Wheat (Martin) and Sheila Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Elena Cardona, Nikki Rodríguez (Rudy), Leo Martínez (Nicole), José Rodríguez (Emile) and Jasmine Renteri (Esteban); her great grandchildren, Sheyla (Brandon), Skyla, Yada, Mila, Sebastian, Ivan, Senia, Conner, Scarlett, Deaglan, Harley, Kale and Kaydee Nell; and her siblings, Hayward Cardwell (Jane), Aaron Cardwell (Lavonne), Avery Cardwell (Paige), Mary Hamilton (Lee) and Melissa Davideit (Mark).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Winter Oak Funeral Home & Cremations (1132 E Plant St, Winter Garden, FL 34787). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Orlando Memorial Gardens (5264 Ingram Rd, Apopka, FL 32703).
