He is survived by: his wife Beverly Clayton; his son Robert; his stepson Guy Payne of Yulee, FL; his half-sisters, Dee Fitzgerald (Dot) of Hope Sound and Patricia Burgess of Waldo, FL.; and his grandchildren, Dayton Swann, Leah Riley (Chris), Dr. Ian Munger (Shrelu), Amber Richardson, Justin Payne, Bradley Clayton (Nicole), Taylor Clayton, James Meeks (Aly) and Jonathan Meeks.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Riverside Event Pavilion (1373 Memorial Park Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32205).
