He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Festus Brown and Maude W. Durance Brown. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Peach of Yulee, Florida; his daughter Wanda Geiger (Tommy) of Fernandina Beach, Florida; his siblings, Elies Parrish of Fitzgerald, GA, Shelia Hodges of Covington, GA and Henry Brown of Conyers, GA; his grandchildren, Tommy Geiger (Emily), Brandi Powell (James) and Paul Geiger (Lori); his great grandchildren, Helen, Wyatt, MaKenna, Gracie, Ansley and Abbey; and his stepchildren, Richard Odum (Connie), Charlotte Nagel-Alexander (Jon) and April Ray (David). He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
