With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dedra Ranee Knight (Dade City, Florida), who passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 46. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Clara Knight, Willie Johnson, Sr. and Rosetta Johnson; and her godfather Bishop Matthew Williams. She is survived by: her parents, Raymond Knight (Patricia) and Deloris Pope (Henry); her siblings, Troy T. Pope, Sr. (Ricarda), Charles E. Thomas, Henry Pope, II (Nicki), Wille Fred Sullivan, Adrian Morrow and Natalie Pope; her aunt Glendora Johnson; her uncles, Willie Lee Johnson, Jr., Nathaniel Johnson, Mack Johnson (Becky) and Clarence Knight; her close friend Fasha Perkins (Kevin); her sister-in-law Tameera Weeks (Denise Williams); her godmother Mother Gayle Williams; and her adoptive mother Judie Bortness. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Glorious Worship Center (37504 Trilby Rd, Dade City, FL 33523). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Brown Memorial Church of God in Christ (2313 E 27th Ave, Tampa, FL 33605).
