He was predeceased by : his parents, Plas Stone and Alma Stone; his children, Early Stone, Jr. and Kathy Stephens; and his siblings, Bobby Stone, Joyce Dorminy, Donald Stone and Liz Vaughn.
He is survived by : his wife Monteen Stone of Abbeville; his son-in-law Tim Stephens of Abbeville; and his grandchildren, Natalie Stephens and James Golden. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
