He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis W. McKinney and Mary Orene McGlamory McKinney. He is survived by : his wife Mary Ellen McKinney of Abbeville; his children, Billy McKinney (Joy) of Braselton, Bobby McKinney (Vicky) of Pitts, Benny McKinney of Gainesville and Sharon McKinney of Abbeville; his sister Martha Mays of Hawkinsville; and his grandchildren, Josh McKinney, Austin McKinney, Allison McKinney Teter, Justin McKinney, Jesse McKinney, Amanda McKinney, Donnie Rountree and Kara McKinney.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family request that everyone attending please wear a mask and please observe social distancing.
