He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Walter Moorhouse and Amy Wilson Moorhouse; his wife Cynthia Fincher Moorhouse; and his siblings, Sylvia Shealey and Walter Addison "Bubba" Davis.

He is survived by : his sons, Joe Moorhouse (Donna) of Abbeville, Tim Moorhouse of Abbeville and Stacy Moorhouse of Abbeville; his siblings, Richard Moorhouse of Brookfield and Juevenne Rhodes of Abbeville; his grandchildren, Nate Moorhouse (Courtney) of Warner Robins and Nolan Moorhouse (Mollie) of Abbeville; and his great grandchild Libbie Moorhouse.
