With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosela Carolyn Witt of Abbeville, Georgia, born in Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Orville Burdette Horne and Edith Margaret Terry Horne; her former life partner Cecil Taylor; her great grandchild Hunter McFall; and her sister Glenna Booze.

She is survived by : her daughters, Berna Carol Sheffield, Doris Moore, Melinda Kay Harper (Tommy), Lorrie Jack (Tony) and Rebecca Johnston (James); and her siblings, Malcomb Randall Horne, Mildred Chaffin of Virginia, Gloria Dean Horne Martin, Charles Horne and Larry Horne. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
