He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Allee "Elsa" Dobson (Gruen); his daughters, Caroline Elisabeth "Beth" Dobson and Jennie Barbara Sharp; his son-in-law David Spencer Sharp; his grandchildren, Kate and Dean Sharp; and also Gruen.
