It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Donald Ray of Acworth, Georgia, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joel Donald Ray to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Baker Ray; his children, Britton Ray of Dublin, Derek Ray (Cynthia) of Acworth, Prentiss Schorsch (Patrick) of Texas, Clay Stewart (Carmen) of Cartersville and Beth McArdle (Scott) of Cartersville; and his brother Gary Ray (Charlene) of Dalton. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
Donations can be made in loving memory of Joel to the Roswell Street Baptist Church Choir. No flowers are allowed at the National Cemetery.
