We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, at the age of 98, Mary Carolyn Mendenhall of Acworth, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George; her siblings, Juanita Simpson, Edna Mobley and Alfred Callahan; and her niece Carole Ann Simpson.

She is survived by: her children, David Mendenhall (Deen Louraine) of Puyallup, WA., Mike Mendenhall (Tricia), Mark Mendenhall (Mary) of Williamson, GA and Julie Barton (Bob) of Acworth, GA.; her grandchildren, Bryan Barton (Lee Ann) of Jasper, GA, Carolyn Tripp (Matt) of Missoula, MT., Michael Barton (Karah) of Dallas, GA, Rachel Barton (Ilya Nazarov), Ashley Mendenhall of Redmond, WA and Amber Mendenhall; her great grandchildren, Alice Howard (Josh) of Ball Ground, GA, Elijah, Evangeline, Merci and Enoch Barton of Jasper, GA; her great great grandchildren, Beny and Junie Howard of Ballground, GA; her close friend Teddy Donahue of Columbus, GA; and her caregivers, Michelle, Laura, Patty, Rebecca, Sherry and Mimi. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
