It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Carl Updike (Acworth, Georgia), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 2, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, Carl Greif and Marie Greif; his daughter Liz; his wife Evelyn Updike; his daughters, Elizabeth Updike and Carol Updike Reinlie; and his granddaughters, Olivia Updike and Amelia Updike.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation in Mr. Updike's honor be made to a charity of your choice, as he was a lifelong giver to various causes.
