With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Oscar Lewis III of Acworth, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on July 10, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oscar Lewis, Jr. and Winnie Madilene Malphrus Lewis. He is survived by: his friends, Janet Burns and Nancy; his wife Letty Pauline Allen Lewis; his children, William "Bill" Oscar Lewis, IV (Shuko) of Oshu, Lori Borget (Richard) of Springville, UT, Lisa Morgan of Mt. Pleasant, UT and Lauren LeAnne Nguyen (Thoai) of Acworth, GA.; his grandchildren, Aiko Rebecca Lewis, Yuto Jefferson Lewis, Mirai Sarah Lewis, Brandon Borget (Meg), Bradley Borget (Matea), Britton Borget, Boston Borget, Madelyn Morgan, Whitney Morgan, Nathan Morgan, Eliza Morgan, Annabelle Nguyen and Maxwell Nguyen; and his great grandchildren, Miah Borget, Richy Borget and Oliver Borget. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested blood donations to the American Red Cross in his honor.
