He was predeceased by : his wife Gladys Adcock Towe; his parents, AC Towe and Selma Striplin Towe; and his sister Barbara Towe Womack. He is survived by : his children, Earlene, Gary Dutton, Alan and LaCreshia Towe of Adairsville; his grandchildren, DeAndra Baker (Marty), Gareth Dutton (Becki), Lauren Thompson (Phillip), Lindsey Woodall (Clint) and Olivia Towe; and his sister Mary El Dutton (Ruby Baggett). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

Following Covid-19 guidelines with social distancing, funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Hibberts, Rev. Gregg Free, and Rev. Eric Sorrell officiating.
