He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Mark Alston and Deborah Moody Alston; and his grandparents, Dorothy Bates and Guy Eller. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Elizabeth Self Alston; his sons, Gibson Alston and Hudson Alston; his grandmother Cora Eller; his aunts and uncles, Lisa Garrett (Randy), Teresa Moss (Ricky), Debbie Crooks (Kevin), Jeff Eller (Michelle Speed) and Russell Bates (Kim); and his close friends, Marty Ayer, Dan Whaley and Benji Humphries. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
