We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024, at the age of 89, William R. Crowder Jr. of Adairsville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Rutherford Crowder and Willie Edgar Fuller Crowder; and his wife Betty Marie Minton Crowder. He is survived by : his children, Denise Stephenson (Jerry), Darlene Buchanan (Jerry), Becky Murray and George W. "Chip" Murray; his siblings, Robert L. Crowder, Mary Elizabeth "Sis" Wall and Barbara C. Rogers; his grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Buchanan Jr., Wesley James Buchanan, Jena Marie Tribble, William Seth Murray, Mathew Jake McLemore and Beth Denise Faircloth; and his great grandchildren, Nathan Murray Buchanan, Carlie Ann Buchanan, Juliet McKenize Tribble, Kayden Murray, Brailey Faircloth, Hunter Faircloth, Sean Faircloth, Xavier McLemore, Dylan Rackley, Tamra Crider and Logan McLemore.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home (535 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Eastview Cemetery.
