He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roy Strickland and Audrey Denkins Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Cindy McLaughlin Strickland of Waycross; his children, Jamie Addison (Todd) of Waycross, Josh Beighley (Tara) of Danielsville, GA, Kyle Strickland (Haley) of Waycross, Jason Strickland of Homerville and Connor Strickland of Waycross; his stepchildren, Clint Hendrix (Mclyn) of Screven, Cassandra Anderson (Mike) of Waycross and Jessica Hunt of Baxley; his stepfather Dennis Wayne Chapman of Waycross; and his sisters, Michele Strickland of Waycross and Marie Benasuly of Atlanta. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alma Church of God (202 W 10th St, Alma, GA 31510).
