It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Carter (Alpharetta, Georgia), born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fussell and Grace Fussell; her husband William "Bill" Carter; and her son Cal Carter. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Carter Richardson (Art) of Woodstock, GA and Cathy Carter McCullohs (Neal) of Lutz, FL; her daughter-in-law Cindy Carter; her cousin Dick Almand of Atlanta, GA; and her stepsisters, Joyia Spann, Juliene Coffin and Striffler-Hamby. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
