She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton "Bo" and Minnie Coogler; and her sister Beverly. She is survived by: her sister Mary Kay (Hugh Duskin); her nephew Hayden Hodges (Beth); her great-nephew Clayton; her godchildren, Amanda Meng and Jamie Shepherd; and also, Sarah Meng and Julie Shepherd.
Born in Elberton, GA on May 9, 1941 Departed on June 3, 2019 and resided in Alpharetta, GA Dr. Carol Edith Coogler, age 78, died peacefully on June 3 after a courageous journey with Alzheimer's disease.
