He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan Smoak and Aileen Smoak; his brother David Smoak; and his son Richard Allen Smoak. He is survived by: his wife Susan Clary Smoak; his daughters, Sharon Smoak Chesnut of Cumming, GA, Lindsey Elise Wallace, Madison Grace Noda, Linda Smoak Hardwick of Acworth, GA, Kathryn Murphy Shubert (Carl Shubert) and Hali Hardwick McCalvin (Drake McCalvin); and his great grandchildren, Lucy Claire Shubert, Maci Ruth McCalvin and Susan.
