He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Jackson Morton, Sr. and Nona Spruell Morton; and his sisters, Barbara Booker and Charlotte Watson. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Pruitt Morton; his sons, Ken Morton (Julie) of Milton, Kevin J. Morton of Alpharetta and Kyle Morton (Monique) of Roswell; and his grandchildren, Emily, Lexie, Camille, Luke, Anna Catherine, Cate Morton and Matt Morton.
