It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madge Winters (Alpharetta, Georgia), born in Forsyth, Georgia, who passed away on October 9, 2019, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson and Lillie Little Dodd; her husband Cleburn Winters; her son Jack Jones; and her siblings, Bidge, George, Clyde Dodd and Bell Cofield.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Winters Westbrooks (Norris) of Cartersville and Lonnie Winters (Elaine); her daughter-in-law Judy Jones; her grandchildren, Phil Jones (Eve) of Alpharetta, Brent Westbrook (Casey) of Cartersville and Memri Milam (Jay) of Cartersville; her great grandchildren, Chase, Carson, Cade Horn, Kaylee Westbrooks, Triston Berryhill, Jake and Ben Dugger; and also Gidget.
Family ask that in lieu of flowers those who wish to make donations in her memory to either St. Jude's Children Hospital in Memphis, TN or the Atlanta Humane Society.
