She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Ernest and Catherine E. Doettling (Keenan); her husband Jack West; her cousins, Ray and Jerry Albrecht; and also Mark D. Barrett.
She is survived by: her sister Bernice Murphy of Manassas, VA; her children, Patricia West of Alpharetta, GA and Gregory West (Lucinda) of Broomfield, CO; her grandson Owen West of Surprise, AZ; her pet Shadow; and also Tux. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
