She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Bagwell and Edith Bagwell; her husband Colonel Landon Edward McConnell; her sister Sarah Tillis Adams; and her son Edward McConnell.

She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Ann McConnell; her brothers, James Bagwell and Clifford Bagwell; her daughter-in-law Kim McConnell; and her grandchildren, James and Quinn.
