She was predeceased by: her parents, Marquis Rankin and Bertha Rankin. She is survived by: her husband Ray; her daughter Dawn; her granddaughter Jeslyn; her siblings, Jacqueline, Fred and Walter; and her siblings-in-law, Kay Rankin and Harold Lollar.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the Alpharetta Lions Club.
