Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maggie Jones and Marvin Jones; and his son Eric Jones. He is survived by: his wife Edna Jean Armour Jones; his sons, Brian (Marlana Jones) and Shane Jones; his grandchildren, Maggie Jones (Wendall), Paxton Jones, Zandrea Jones, Kolten Jones and Ethan Jones; and his great grandchildren, Ellie-Ann Williams and Mazie Williams.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel (1370 Industrial Blvd, Baldwin, GA 30511).
