He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertil N. Waldal and Evelyn Lardy Waldal; his wife Kathleen Kay Waldal; and his brother Donald R. Waldal. He is survived by: his pet Maggie; his children, Mary Kaye Waldal (Wayne) of Huntsville, AL and Mike Waldal (Samye) of Smithville; his grandchildren, Mallory Jordan, Colson Jordan, Lauren Waldal (Chase Fox), Kristin Waldal and Madison Brown (Corey); his great grandchildren, Olivia Lane and Sawyer Kathleen Fox; his siblings-in-law, Russell and Jackie Stadler; his nieces and nephews, Dean, Beth Schoenberg of Moholl, ND, Kevin Stadler of Bismark, ND, Jerri Lyn and Dave Carlson of Bismark, ND; and his cousins, Michael and Louann Lardy of Moultrie, GA..
