It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Reid Gardner (Americus, Georgia), who passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Cawood and Annie Belle Carter Reid; her husband Lee Murray Gardner, Sr.; her daughter Pat Trawick; her siblings, E. C., Toby Reid and Etna Glawson; her granddaughter Leigh Ann Brett; and her great grandchild Gerald Lee Brett.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie; her son-in-law James Dozier of Plains; her sons, Jerry (Carol Gardner) and Murray (Gloria Gardner); and her grandchildren, Larry Trawick Jr., Steve Trawick, David Trawick, Reid Trawick, Rob Gardner, Kristy Gardner Swinson, Kirk Gardner, Tre Gardner, Ron Dozier, Angel Dozier Lamb and De Dozier Sears. She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
