Florence Harris Blanton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Harris Blanton of Americus, Georgia, who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Harris and Willie Lee Cooper Harris; her husband Aaron Loren Blanton; her siblings, Bill Harris, Marvin Harris and June Turner; and her grandson James Blanton.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Blanton Mackey (Craig) and J. Ellis Blanton; her grandchildren, Shawn Blanton (Alicia), Melody Mackey LaRue and Ginger Mackey Nairn (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Ellis Blanton, Hollis Blanton, Renee Anne Blanton, Hannah Swader, Tasha LaRue, Connor LaRue, Jacob Nairn, Matthew Nairn and Bethany Nairn; and her siblings, Ben Harris, Howard Harris and Virginia Roberts. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
