With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irving Carter (Americus, Georgia), born in Bainbridge, Georgia, who passed away on May 4, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Miss Dorothy Louise Carter; his children, Cheryl Bonnor, James Carter of Newark, NJ, Minister David Carter of Newark, NJ, Dorothy Branch, Gwendolyn Hicks and Melva Williams of Kankakee, IL; and his son-in-law Jerome Thomas. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.
