He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stephens Scott; his children, James Scott, Jr., Jeffrey Scott, Melissa Hernandez (Roberto), Virginia Summerlin and Jamie Underwood (Darin Dunford); his siblings, Edward Scott (Yvonne), Tommy Scott and Patsy Johnson (Tommy); and his pet BooBoo. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
