He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Hale and Lucille Bryant Hale; and his wife Dixie Ruth Coogle Hale. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Hale (Rhonda), Pat Westbury, Eric McElroy, Scarlette Harper (Jerry) and Colleen Johnston (Sonny). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
