She is survived by: her sons, Antonio Mayes of Albany and Thomas Mayes of Ashburn, Georgia; her siblings, Aaron Holmes of Ashburn, Georgia and Verdi Holmes of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and her friend Mattie Pearl Carithers. She is also survived by cousins, nephews, and nieces, and friends.
