She was predeceased by: her siblings, Roosevelt "Rose" Sharpe, Malachi "Mac" Sharpe and Jeanette Nola; her son Ricky Matthews; and her former husband Ross Matthews.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Roberts; her children, Barry Matthews (Sharon) of Ashburn, GA, Roy Mathews (Alma) of Middleburg, FL, Gail Maddox of Dublin, GA and Theron "Ted" Roberts of Anderson, SC; and her brother Leland "Bill" Sharpe of Ashburn, GA. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
