He is survived by: his son Clifton Cole; his siblings, Bobbie Powell (Alden), Geneva Stafford, Johnny Clark (Bernice), James Clark, Jr. (Linda), Billy Clark and Anthony Carridine (Sandra); his sister-in-law Barbara Clark; and his aunt Susie Mae Perry of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
