He is survived by: his parents, Samuel James Rowan, Jr. (Susan Joy) of Bluffton, SC and Karen Schirmer Bonds of Winder, GA.; his brother Chris Rowan (Kenya); his nephew Alex of Winder, GA; his grandmother Anne Rowan; his aunts, Judy Cox, Noell Rowan (Laura Hall) of Carolina Beach, NC and Lynn Peek of Decatur, GA.; and also, Miriam Cox of Watkinsville, GA. and Sarahgrace Cox of Watkinsville, GA..
